Baking Soda Homemade Face Mask

You need two basic ingredients for this mask. You will need water and baking soda. You can find these easily in your kitchen. Make a mix of water and baking soda. Apply on your skin and leave on for about 20 minutes. Wash your face with warm water to remove the mask. You can use this to clarify your skin and can be used twice a week to help improve your acne prone skin.

Egg White Homemade Face Mask

Acne can be caused by an unclean face. To have a fresh and acne free skin, you can use egg white mask. This is a cheap and simple alternative to expensive facials. Separate the egg white from its yolk. Whip the white egg until you reach a frothy and soft texture. Apply it on your face and leave on for approximately 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water.

Egg Yolk Homemade Face Mask

This is another version of the egg mask. This time, you will be using the egg yolk, which is a good source of Vitamin A that can help fight acne and scarring. Whisk the egg yolk and apply on your face for 20 minutes. Wash off with water.

Basil Homemade Face Mask

For this natural face mask, you will need 3 tsp of dried basil leaves. Steep the basil leaves in boiling water in 10 to 20 minutes. Let the solution cool before applying it to your face with a cotton ball.

Salt Homemade Face Mask

A lot of people will tell you that swimming in the ocean is good for acne prone skin. If you like the thought of this, you can make your own salt mask. You can do this by mixing salt with water. Wait for the salt to completely dissolve in the water then apply on your face.

Oatmeal Homemade Mask

You can blend water with oatmeal to make this mask. Apply on your skin and leave on for 10-15 minutes. This will scrub off dead skin cells and is good for acne prone skin.

Apply and Honey Homemade Mask

This is a yummy treat for your skin and is good way to combat acne. Grate 1 medium sized apple and add 4 tablespoons of honey. Smooth over your face and leave on for ten minutes then rinse with warm water.
